Search And Rescue Trainers Course Outline
Our Search and
Rescue dog trainers course is designed to teach the student how to select
and test dogs for SAR work as well as how to train and maintain these dogs.
This course provides the student with both lecture and practical, hands-on
training with dogs that we have in-kennel at various stages of training.
This combination of lecture and practical training through each step of
selecting, developing and training a Search and Rescue dog will provide
the solid foundation needed to be a successful search and rescue dog trainer.
Students are allowed to bring up to two (2) dogs with them during the course. This offers the student the opportunity to not only train the dogs that we have at our facility, but to also work with their personal dogs.
Our Search and Rescue Trainers Courses can be tailored to fit your individual
needs. Our course includes a broad overview of training search and rescue
dogs as well as one specialty area (listed in blue).
Each additional specialty area can be included for an additional fee.
