Kira locates Marijuana first day on the Job!

Officer J. Unangst of the Gardendale, AL Police Department was called to assist agents with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and Fultondale Police Department with the sniff of a vehicle. Officer Unangst arrived with his K-9 "Kira", trained by Highland Canine Training, and successfully located 1.5 pounds of marijuana hidden in the trunk.

Officer Unangst and Kira had over twenty (20) felony arrests within their first month on the street! Seven of the arrests were a result of successful tracks on break-ins and robberies. Congratulations to Jimmy and Kira....Keep Up the Great Work!
