Obedience and Behavior Modification Professionals Trainers Course
Our
Professional Obedience and Behavior Modification Professional Trainers Course
is designed to teach the student everything that they will need to begin
their dog training career.. This course provides the student with both lecture
and practical, hands-on training with dogs that we have in-kennel at various
stages of training. This combination of lecture and practical training through
each step of teaching, proofing and rehabilitatin dogs will provide the
solid foundation needed to be a successful Dog Trainer. This course allows
for a great deal of hands on training with "problem dogs" to teach
the student the proper methods of rehabilitating and treating dogs with
any common behavioral problem. This course covers everything from properly
reading and understanding canine body language to how to develop a website
and work with clients and dog owners.
This course is available in 6, 8 and 12 week formats. One of the biggest differences in the length of the program is the amount of practical, hands-on experience that you will receive in dealing with dog behaviors and training. We feel that this in-depth practical experience is what it takes to make a successful dog trainer. Price includes basic equipment and all course materials.
Students are allowed to bring up to two (2) dogs with them during the course. This offers the student the opportunity to not only train the dogs that we have at our facility, but to also work with their personal dogs.
Our students are not required to work in our kennels and are not responsible for any type of "kennel cleaning" or "kennel management" program as with other school and facilities.
